Mark and I always dreamt of opening a hotel overlooking the rugged Maine coast and raising a family there. We welcomed our first guests to our cozy B&B a decade ago and we pride ourselves on giving every guest the perfect vacation, from our little family to theirs. Until the Rowes check in…

The Rowes arestrangely over-familiar when they arrive with their teenage daughter. The wife puts a hand on Mark’s forearm and her husband meets my eyes with a knowing look as I hold my little son tight. They gush that they loved their previous stay here… But I’m certain they’ve never been here before.

Mark reassures me that the Rowes are just being friendly. We have so many visitors, maybe we forgot meeting them. But I’m not so sure. They booked out the whole B&B for themselves, insisting they are here for much-needed family time. But when I hear someone whispering a lullaby to my baby on his monitor, I know something strange is going on. Mark again brushes away my concerns. Why won’t he believe me?

Then when the relentless icy rain gives way to the biggest blizzard of the season we become cut off. Now my beautiful baby boy and I are trapped. I’ll do anything to protect my darling son, and I cannot trust my husband. With the storm closing in, I know I need to stay in control. Because Mark doesn’t know what secrets I’m really hiding. And that it was me who invited the Rowes here in the first place…
